Searching the dictionaries a full guide
1: There are specific dedicated search functions on each of the dictionary pages
Top left corner home page.
2: Is a dropdown select option search form: Above this is a text input field. Selecting from the select options with no text input: Will give wildcard searches as described in the select option. Adding text into the text input above and then selecting "yap" or "yapmak" or similar and then selecting option "Turkish Verb" will show only entries with yapmak or similar in the Verb column of the Turkish dictionary. Show uses of the verb "yapmak" a common Turkish verb
3: Although searches will generate results on only 2 or 3 letters. The results on such a search will be too broad. example "Laz" will find "Lazım" in amongst other unrelated search terms, to pinpoint all "Lazım" related searches together enter the full word "Lazım" (Lazım) is one turkish word for need and necessity. By entering "Lazım" the full correct Turkish spelling all results will retrieve Turkish sentences about "Lazım"
4: This is true of all searches on all search paages using any search input box: "th" will retrive "theatre" and all variants starting with English letters "th" To find all "the" definite article sentences enter "the" in either uppercase "The" or lowercase "the" to show sentences about "The - definite article"

Using wildcards and special characters
3: Wildcards to match any sequence of characters in 1,2,3 or 4 columns, are built into the select options. Showing you the user a multitude of search results. In a spreadshhet style allowing you to see many examples covering usage grammar and many contexts.
Combining search terms
4: AND, OR, NOT to combine search terms, these too are pre built-in. And will find entries containing both words, .
Narrowing down your results
5: Carry out further searches by selecting from dropdown select options where provided, to narrow results by word type (noun, verb, adjective), language, or other criteria specific to each dictionary.
To find examples of Turkish suffixes
6: From the home page select "Turkish word" from the drop down select option and enter an - hyphen followed by the suffix you want to find -de -ler -in etc. Your search results will show example sentences using that suffix
To find examples of Turkish grammar structures
7: From the home page select "Turkish word" from the drop down select option and enter an - hyphen plus the @ sign like this -@ followed by the grammar structure you want to find -@hem hem etc. Your search results will show example sentences using that particular Turkish grammar structure
To add examples of Turkish suffixes or grammar structures
8: From Contribute to dictionary page "With Turkish dictionary selected" simply follow the guidance at 6 and 8 above enter - suffix -de -ten -tan etc or -@ grammar structure -@ hem de etc directly into the Word input only [other inputs will not accept this formating]. From then on all users of the dictionar can find what it is you want to teach with example sentence contribute to the dictionary project
